Of course, you can use C99 with engines using adblue.

Why use C 99 ethanol
It can be used with the kit or with 75% E85 and 25% E5.

Why use P 18 with an ethanol engine?
Ethanol is very detergent, it will dilute the oil film on your cylinders, the engine will be less well lubricated, which will lead to frequent oil changes as the ethanol sinks into the engine oil. Vehicles using ethanol need even more oil changes than with P 18.
Once every 5 refuellings with ethanol, use 10 litres of petrol with 50 ml of P 18 for an anti-wear shock treatment of the injectors and injection pump.

How to decarbonise the EGR valve
1 - Get a bottle of Mecarun Eco 10,000 - 250 ml and a bottle of C 99 - 250 ml which treats 1,000 litres of diesel.
2 – Decarbonisation of the EGR valve on the road: Pour one Eco 10.000 250 ml + 5 ml of C99 into the tank (containing 20 to 25 litres of diesel).
Drive, trying to maintain 2,500/3,000 rpm in all gears, without reaching the last gear (except at low speed), until you reach the reserve.
The EGR valve closes at around 2700 rpm, depending on the make and whether it is in final gear, which is why the EGR valve must be in open mode to take advantage of the decarbonisation process.
It is also advisable to clean the air intake system, in order to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio (1 g of fuel to 15 g of air), Mecarun's AIC Intake Cleaner
Make the following 3 fillings with a double dose of C 99.
A diesel vehicle must not be driven at an engine speed (less than 1800 rpm) outside the manoeuvring speed because the exhaust gas temperature is too low = dirt.
"Low speed urban driving, traffic jams, short journeys" doubles the dose of C 99.
Very important: Air and diesel filters must be clean, a defective glow plug is also a cause of poor combustion.
Do not drive at lower revs any more.
If you have to be in 3rd gear to drive at 2000 rpm at 50 km/hour, drive in 3rd gear, you will consume less and get stuck less.
- Pour the contents of the 500 ml bottle into the used engine oil sump just before the oil change.
- Start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes, without moving the vehicle.
- Then drain the oil and replace the filter.
- Pour the contents of a P 18 - 250 ml bottle into the crankcase inlet and then top up with new oil.
- Then start the engine
Engine Flush for manual gearboxes
- Add 10% Engine Flush, relative to the volume of oil (drain the equivalent amount beforehand to leave space).
- Drive 50 to 100 kms (can be in several stages or days).
- Once the gearbox has been cleaned, empty it and let it drain while it is still warm.
- Pour 6% P 18 (recommended) into the gearbox, before adding new oil.
Be more cautious with petrol vehicles with more than 200,000 kms.
If the vehicle is in good condition and consumes hardly any oil, it can still be used Engine Flush
But if the engine is worn out, reaching the end of its useful life and the engine's dirt is the only thing maintaining compression, the Engine Flush is what will clean it up and make the engine's failure evident.
We do not recommend the use of Engine Flush for cleaning DSG and other automatic gearboxes because the electronic sensors and valve solenoids are soaked in oil.
It is however recommended to add 2% P 18 to the automatic gearbox oil.
For a gravity oil change, it is not necessary to flush the engine before pouring in the P 18 and the new oil.
Rinse with neutral oil:
Only for boat engines with suction drainage.
The same applies to motorbike engines or dry sump engines.
1 - Get a 250 ml bottle of Eco 10,000 and a 250 ml bottle of C 99 that treats 1,000 litres of diesel.
2 – On-road cleaning of the FAP or DPF (particulate filter) without disassembly
Pour one Eco 10,000 250 ml into the tank (it should contain no more than 25 to 30 litres) of diesel + 5 ml of C 99.
Try to drive the vehicle on highways or 4-lane roads at more than 100 km/h and at 2,500/3,000 rpm until you reach the reserve to make the FAP failure disappear.
The aim is not only to turn off the "clogged FAP" indicator light, but also to decarbonise the FAP, clean the DPF to save fuel and minimise fuel regeneration (the engine does this with fuel (= more waste).
After this operation, you should remove the fault code with a fault code scanner or have it removed by a professional.
Very important: Air and fuel filters must be clean. A defective glow plug can also cause poor combustion.

The function of the particulate filter is to filter out fine soot or carbon particles contained in engine exhaust gases and thus reduce pollution.
The role of filtration.
The filter captures soot or carbon particles resulting from imperfect combustion, short journeys, driving at too low engine speeds or driving at too high engine speeds.
This leads to carbon build-up in the FAP or DPF, which causes a drop in engine performance, increased fuel consumption and more frequent regenerations.
This layer of carbon deposits can clog the FAP.
Regeneration
Regeneration consists of sending the diesel together with the exhaust gases to the FAP to induce a combustion that raises the temperature to melt and drip the soot or carbon (similar effect to what happens in an uncleaned chimney).
